Being the glass with characteristics and properties similar to those of TEMPERTECH® Tempered Safety Glass, TEMPERTECH®-CP, with its coloured ceramic enamel coating, is weather-resistant and non-ageing, because before the firing process, the glass surface is covered with one or many ceramic enamel coatings. The tempered process is the same as that of TEMPERTECH® Tempered Safety Glass. This process creates a permanent enamel coating on the glass surface, achieving a scratch-resistant finish without peeling off. Especially, it brings about our flexibility of colour and design choice in modern architecture |

TEMPERTECH ® Tempered Safety Glass is the product of the thermal process to enhance the basic strength of float glass. Float glass is heated to near its softening point and then rapidly quenched by directing jets of cold air onto its surface equally and exactly. As the surfaces cool quicker than the core, the surfaces are placed in compression. This tempering process produces highly desirable conditions of induced stress, making TEMPERTECH ® Tempered Safety Glass additional strength, resistance to thermal stress and impact resistance, which, however, does not alter the visible light and solar radiant heat properties of the glass. Fully tempered glass must have a surface compression of more than 69 Mpa (Annealed glass is below 24 MPA). Wind pressure, foreign object impact and thermal stresses on other applied loads must first overcome this compression before there is a possibility of breakage to TEMPERTECH ® Tempered Safety Glass.

Raw material glass, by means of computer-aided calculations, is automatically cut, sharpened, drilled, carved, pierced most exactly according to every concrete technical design-demand on measure, shape, thinness, quantity and then the glass is water-cleaned, dried to totally transparent before going to force-tempering phase. |

Standard thickness 4 mm – 19 mm. After tempering tempered glass cannot be cut, drilled, sharpened. Hole-drilling, carving, edge-processing must be carried out before tempering. It’s possible to produce tempered glass in almost all shapes, colors, having customer-design characters. It’s necessary to determine the exact measure before order.
